The compact one. Canon redesigned the 70-200 f/2.8 for the RF mount and somehow made it noticeably shorter than the EF version it replaces, without giving anything up.
Balance on the R5 is perfect. Hand-held all day, no tripod required. The IS is excellent, focus snaps, and the rendering is exactly what you want from a 70-200: clean, contrasty, with smooth backgrounds when you open it up.
Portraits, sports, candid documentary work, all the same lens. The new go-to telephoto.
