New Gear: Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM

The wide end of the holy trinity. 15mm is wide enough to get me into tight interiors and pull off dramatic landscapes without resorting to a fisheye.

What surprised me most is the IS. A wide angle with image stabilization sounds like overkill until you're hand-holding at 15mm in a dim cathedral or out in the blue hour. It buys me real shutter speed.

Corners are sharper than any 16-35 I've used before, and there's almost no distortion to fight in post.
