The new workhorse landed today. 45 megapixels of full-frame stills, 8K RAW video, and dual-pixel autofocus that actually keeps up with the things I shoot - birds in flight, kids on bikes, weather rolling in over the cascades.
What I'm most excited about: the in-body stabilization. The IBIS alone makes it feel like a different camera than my old kit - sharp hand-helds at shutter speeds I'd never have tried before, especially with the long glass.
First real outing is coming up. I'll post a few frames once I have something worth sharing.
